Choosing A Pay Per Click
Firm
Choose The Wrong Pay Per Click Firm And Your
Business Could Suffer Serious Consequences

So you
need a Pay Per Click Firm to
handle your online advertising for you. Congratulations!
Welcome to the highly competitive world of Pay Per
Click Marketing.
I'd like to ask you a few simple questions before you begin
your search. Fair enough?
#1. Do you have any personal experience with Pay Per Click
advertising or PPC Bid
Management yourself?
Yes or no? It's alright to be honest. This isn't going to be
graded, it's just to give you an idea of what you need to look
for when you get ready to hire a Pay Per Click
Firm.
If you answered yes to the first question,
which PPC Company did you use previously when advertising,
Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing (formerly Overture and,
before that, GoTo), MSN Adcenter or perhaps one of the smaller
Pay Per Click companies like Ask.com, Miva, ect.?
#2. If you already have PPC experience, then you know
how challenging it can be and the importance of setting a
budget, keyword research, split testing ads, building and split
testing landing pages, testing, testing and then testing some
more. You do know these things, don't you?
You may be experienced enough to know that these companies
listed above are NOT your friends. They are simply "tools" that
can be used to either create wealth or rapidly contribute to
the demise of any business on a fixed budget that goes into
this arena without taking the time to educate themselves
properly.
I've heard several "horror stories" of people setting up a
Pay Per Click campaign only to check it a few hours later and
find a $2,000-$3,000.00 bill. True stories. I just heard of
another one on a teleconference recently.
The big mistake that these people made was to not get the
proper education before they jumped into the firefight. They
should have made that their top priority before opening their
wallet to give Google Adwords any of their money.
In a perfect world you'd think that one
Pay Per Click Firm is the same as any other, but in the real
world it's simply not that way. Some Pay Per Click Companies
excel at what they do. That's not to say that the others are
terrible, just that, as in any area of expertise, some
companies have proven themselves over and over again, not by
"hearsay" or hype, but by proven RESULTS.
Of all the Pay Per Click search engines, one of these has
risin to the top of the market as the easiest to use, best
interface, most productive and has been voted by far the
favorite of most of the top marketers online today.
This Pay Per Click search engine is none other than Google
Adwords.
In twenty minutes or less you can not only have a campaign
set up and running, but visible to over 100 MILLION people (at
the time of this writing). Most other PPC search engines must
be manually approved by a human editor before they publish ads.
This can sometimes take days. Not with Google Adwords. Five
dollars gets you an account and then you're up and running.
Many people have used Google Adwords to take their
struggling business and turn it into a profitable, company,
just by learning the CORRECT methods of utilizing this powerful
marketing tool. Others have taken profitable companies and
turned them into million dollar powerhouse firms. They've taken
the knowledge learned and turned their businesses into virtual
cash cows.
There are several good books out on the market where you can
learn about Google Adwords, but none anywhere as good as Perry
Marshall's "Definitive Guide To
Google Adwords".
Perry has taken Pay Per Click advertising and turned it
upside down on it's head just by simplifying Google Adwords for
the rest of the internet marketing world.
I recommend that you pick up a copy of his "Definitive Guide To Google Adwords"
before you make another move.
Make certain that when you're sitting across the desk from
the CEO of the company, that you're thinking of hiring, that
you've gotten at least the basics of PPC advertising under your
belt. Anything less than that will put you and your company at
a serious disadvantage.
This is extremely important before you decide to hire any
Pay Per Click Firm.
